In a tragic incident in the Udwantnagar police station area of Bhojpur district, a 21-year-old student, Bhanu Pratap Singh, preparing to become an inspector, was brutally murdered with a sharp weapon on Friday night. The body was discovered on the Pieniya-Godhna Road main road the following Saturday morning.
Devki Singh, the father, residing in Kapurdihra village of Tarari, has accused the in-laws of his elder son for the murder. The victim's body exhibited sharp weapon wounds on the face and forehead, with the family pointing fingers at domestic disputes.
Bhanu Pratap Singh, a graduate student aspiring to join the police department, lived with his family on KG Road in Ara Nawada police station area. His father, Devki Singh, has alleged foul play by the in-laws due to ongoing domestic disputes. The family reported a dispute between the elder son's wife and her maternal family.
The victim, after leaving home on Friday night to buy vegetables, did not return. The family received information about the body on Saturday morning, leading to identification at Ara Sadar Hospital. As the investigation proceeds, accusations are directed at the elder son's in-laws, and the police are examining the matter.
